Using Instant Info via a phone
Recording a Message
- Dial 715-834-4488
- When answered, enter Mailbox number ( _ _ _ _*_ _ ) (including star) immediately after you hear "Hello".
- For example, enter 1234*56 (all at once). Don't wait for any prompt other than it saying "Hello".
- When asked, enter how many days you want it to call your group. Entering a zero would end today at midnight. Entering a one would have it call through tomorrow, etc.
- Record message immediately after the tone.
- While it plays back, press the one key to confirm your message. Or, press the pound (#) key if you want to rerecord it.
Checking your Phone Tree Progress
- Dial 715-834-4488
- After "Hello," enter your mailbox number

- For example enter 1234*56*1 (all at once). Don't wait for any prompt other than it saying "Hello".
General Phone Tree Tips
- Answering Machines
State the main point of your message within the first 30 seconds, some answering machines may cut messages short.
- Time of Day
It's usually best to start a message early in the day (when people are gone). They can hear it on answering machines at their own convenience.
How to hear a message again
- Your group may call you with Instant Info, an automated calling service. If it calls you, press one (1) to hear the message.
- To hear the message again, call 715-834-4488 (from home phone). When it answers and says "Hello", press the pound (#) button.
- Please remind household members to take a message if they receive the call. Then you may call back at any time to hear the message.
Using Instant Info online features
How to add and delete mailboxes from an account
Log in using your account number and PIN, then click Add or Delete Mailboxes on the left navigation bar. To add or delete a mailbox, select a number in the appropriate dropdown box and click Create New Mailbox or Delete Mailbox. You will be prompted to provide a name for the newly created mailbox.
How to edit billing and contact information for your account
Log in using your account number and PIN, then click Edit Billing Information. Make your changes in the form and click Accept Changes to update your information. This information is used when you are billed and contacted by Instant Info, so it is important to keep up to date.
How to edit mailbox information
Log in using either an account or mailbox number and PIN, then click Edit Mailbox Information. Make your changes in the form and click Accept Changes to update your information. It is especially important to keep this information up to date if a mailbox is managed by a different individual than the account owner.
How to edit mailbox phone numbers
Log in using either an account or mailbox number and PIN. If you log in with an account, click the mailbox number/name in the left navigation bar under "Other ####* Mailboxes" to edit the correct mailbox. Follow the instructions to the right of the Phone Number box to edit your numbers. Make sure to utilize the Sort and Auto Area Code features to effectively manage your mailbox!
How to view a printer-friendly phone number list
Click the Printable Number List link on the left navigation bar to open a new window with your mailbox's phone numbers. This page is ideal for printing out a list of your numbers. Note that any associated text is not printed with the numbers on this page.
How to log out
Simply click the Logout of... link on the left navigation bar to log out. You will be redirected to the main page.
